Ina Garten is a well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002, and has been aired for up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began working for the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policies as well as the budget. While she initially found the work fascinating and intellectually stimulating, she soon became bored with it. Barefoot Contessa was then purchased. Prior to selling the company the store, she worked for more than 18 years building it to an extremely successful business. After that, several cookbooks were published and she also wrote magazine columns. Another success was her Food Network Television show. Additionally, she sells items ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and equipment. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself who has not attended a cooking school or worked in the kitchen. Ina is well-known as an easy cook, and also for her entertaining cooking style. Her most well-known recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
