Hayley Orrantia, an American actor, singer and songwriter. Most people know the name as Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. However, she considers herself primarily a musician. She maintains that music is her primary passion. She has been dabbling with since she was nine years old. By the time she turned 12, music became significant enough that she was able to begin professional training. The year 2013 saw her take the plunge into songwriting and made her debut album. From that point on, there's been no looking back. Orrantia is a native of the USA but she is a native of the United States with Hispanic roots. While she has never lived in or spoken Spanish in Mexico, she still feels extremely proud of her Hispanic roots. Her goal is to preserve it through the creation of Spanish songs and taking classes in the Spanish language. One such song is "Hasta Verte," a song she composed in Spanish. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of the X Factor when she uploaded an YouTube audition video. The judge gave her the four "yes" vote by the judge on the live stage audition in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was solo but in "Hollywood week" she was put together with three female singers in a trio for the remainder of the auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week in the live show.
