Hayley Orrantia, the American performer, songwriter and actress. The majority of people recognize her as Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. However, she's primarily a music lover. Music is always been her primary passion. When she was 12 years old, music became seriously enough that she began formal training. The year 2013 saw her take on songwriting and produced her debut album. The music has never stopped since then. Orrantia was born in the USA and yet she is of Hispanic origins. Although she was raised speaking exclusively English and never lived in Mexico she is very proud of her Hispanic roots. She endeavours to maintain it through becoming fluent in Spanish and writing songs in the language. 'Hasta Verte' a song that she wrote in Spanish is one such attempt. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first Season of The X Factor. Orrantia auditioned, and was selected through YouTube videos and received the four "yeses," from judges at Seattle at the time of live auditions. Her initial audition was performing as a solo artist, however in the course of "Hollywood Week", three other female performers were put in a group to continue the auditions. The group was eliminated at the fifth week in the Live performance.
